Galerie Proarta

Experience and High Competence Founded in 1989 by Mrs. Roxana Pirovano who took a programatic direction to Galerie Proarta’s inauguration exhibition presenting works by Sonja Delaunay. The gallery leads on abstract expressionism and concrete modern and contemporary art. For the last decade the gallery’s project involvements include collaborations with the Sam Francis Foundation of the late American artist, Sonia Delaunay and Hans Richter. Solo exhibitions of Jean Arp, Sam Francis, Paul Jenkins, Le Corbusier and Nam June Paik have been the core of the program. Retrospective shows by Gottfried Honegger, Paul Jenkins, Keith Sonnier, Peter Phillips, Jim Dine and Jan Voss have been vastly presented at the gallery, accompanied by a catalogue. Galerie Proarta has a keen eye for young artists, who are selected through intensive workshops and are provided with the opportunity to exhibition to a vast audience.
