GWiST - Girls and Women in STEM is a Plaksha University initiative to build a community of women in India. The aim is to encourage girls and women to start and thrive in their STEM careers. This group will enable women in the industry to learn from one another's experiences, obtain mentorship from notable female leaders, and encourage future generations of women to pursue jobs in fields they are passionate about. GWiST is a space for women to interact, uncover intriguing connections and possibilities, support one another, and talk about common interests. We welcome men as allies, mentors and sponsors to the group.
