The GS1 system of standards is the most widely used supply chain standards system in the world. The GS1 System includes Unique Identifiers, Data Carriers (bar codes and RFID), e-Messaging standards, Data Synchronisation and Traceability solutions. Today almost 3.5 million organisations in over 20 different sectors use GS1 supply chain standards to drive down costs, achieve efficiency gains and deliver supply chain visibility and security.
