GIS Solutions (Private) Limited was appointed by Environmental Systems Research Institute Inc. (ESRI) as its new sole Distributor for Sri Lanka effective 1 April 2012. We are a subsidiary of the Just In Time Group, a foremost systems integrator in Sri Lanka with over a decade of experience, providing ICT solutions and service support to a niche market in Sri Lanka. In its 14 year history, JIT has delivered some of the largest, mission critical ICT systems and projects in Sri Lanka. JIT Group provides integrated solutions for vital sectors such as telecommunications, government, health, defense and financial services and is proud of its achievements in bringing cutting edge technical know-how to the country. We have a team of qualified and experienced GIS Professionals to carry this technology forward and help build a better Sri Lanka with this technology.Additionally we will have the support of international ESRI business partners to provide professional services in consulting and project implementation, to facilitate capacity building and knowledge transfer and help our local users deploy GIS on their own, customization of off-the-shelf GIS technology, and delivery of ready-to-use enterprise systems. GIS Solutions (Private) Limited will continue to market the ArcGIS product line to our local customers which include government, local government, survey and mapping, environment and forestry, disaster management, urban development, land use planning, defense, census and statistics, transportation, utility boards such as water, electricity and telecommunications and universities and educational institutions. We are building on the ESRI Alliances with major technology leaders such as Amazon Web Services, AT&T, Citrix, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, SAS and others to ensure product compatibility that provides users with a wide range of technology solutions
