GCA - The Government Companies Authority is a statutory body established and operates under the Israeli Government Companies Law. The GCA acts as the shareholder's representative in relation to the business and affairs of government-owned companies.
The GCA oversights 59 fully-owned companies by the government and 30 more companies with mixed ownership, employing about 60,000 persons, including both commercially focused companies and companies with non-commercial purposes. The GCA’s portfolio includes some of the most major, complex and important companies of Israel's national economy.
