Friends Of Tenth Street Park

Friends of 10th Street Park is a volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) status tax-exempt organization dedicated to Tenth Street Community Park in the Blagden Alley/Naylor Court neighborhood of Washington, DC. The Friends work with the neighboring community, the ANC, and the DC Department of Parks and Recreation to ensure daily operations of the park. The Friends fundraise to make improvements, advocate on behalf of the community, help to maintain the site through clean-up and beautification efforts and are engaged in planning or site improvements. The Department of Parks and Recreation relies on the Friends to be the eyes and ears at the park and to report any hazardous conditions, damaged equipment, or other needed repairs.
