LA City Approved Testing Agency, Franklin Inspection Services, Inc. (FIS), has been providing quality assurance & quality control services within Southern California and beyond since 1999. We specialize in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and various Special Inspections including Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle (MT), Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Penetrant Testing (PT), Fireproofing Inspection, Epoxy Inspection, and Bolting Inspection. We undertake large projects from multi-story buildings to small jobs such as residential homes. Our team of seasoned technicians can assist you with your NDT and technical welding needs in an efficient, competent and professional manner, whether it be in a lab or out on the field.All of our technicians are certified through standards set by The American Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT), American Welding Society (AWS), The American Concrete Institute (ACI), and International Code Council (ICC). We strictlyfollow guidelines set by ASNT for written procedures and in qualifying personnel for NDT. This explains that all companies that offer NDT shall have written procedures that are certified by an ASNT Level III, as well as following the guidelines set forth by ASTM 1359 (American Society for Testing and Materials) which states written procedures for personnel certification must be available. Our documentation is comprehensive and we use the latest technology in inspection equipment and have the capability to inspect a wide range of materials.
