Foxhill Forum is a charity based community organisation based in Foxhill, Sheffieldestablished in 1995. The Forum offers a wide variety of activities and services including Health and Well-being activities, Employability services, a well resourced Volunteer programme and an extensive Community Learning programme.
In 2011, Foxhill Forum was successful in securing £391,388 from the Big Lottery Fund's Reaching Communities Programme to deliver these opportunities for local people, the project ended in January 2014.
The Forum became a registered ASDAN Centre in 2011, and offers accredited qualifications and short courses.
Foxhill Forum owns and manages Wolfe Road Healthy Living Centre, a well utilised community venue in Foxhill. The Healthy Living Centre offers Activity Halls, Training Rooms and a Community ICT Suite.
Foxhill Forum was awarded Investors in People status in January 2011 in recognition of the quality of it's systems
and outputs. The Forum was once again awarded Investors in People status in January 2014, as well as achieving the Visible quality mark. The Forum is also currently working towards Customer First.
Foxhill Forum has recently been successful in obtaining a capital grant of £338,870 from the Big Lottery Fund's Reaching Communities Buildings Programme in order to refurbish and upgrade the Healthy Living Centre. The project will include the installation of a lift and internal staircase, improved health and wellbeing spaces, and
the creation of a Healthy Eating Café – which will be a community learning resource.
Foxhill Forum has to secure funding grants from a variety of funding sources in order to carry out local projects or fund activities, services or opportunities for local people.
