Forward: Automate Your Job Hunt

Forward is a web extension that provides personalized assistance to students in their online job-hunt. Students take about 1.5 minutes on average to read a job description, focusing on only the technical requirements. They miss out on other details that help them stand out because they don't know the keywords that are important, and don't understand the soft-skills asked by the company. Feed Me a Job helps by highlighting key parts in job descriptions and telling students what it means, giving them a recruiter’s perspective. It highlights all the words that should be included in their resume as the ATS would pick up on it. It compares content and context between their resume and the job description, tells them where they can learn missing skills, and automatically provides job post recommendations that match their entire skill-set on job portals so that they don't wander around job portals aimlessly. The bottom line, it simplifies the entire process of online job hunting.
