Forte is a privately-held, limited company which provides hotel management since 2004. We currently run properties (more than 700 keys) in Taiwan. We have 4 separate brands, Forte Hotels, Yamagata Kaku, and Orange Hotels, ranging from four-star to one-star class properties.
Established in 2004, by Michael Liao, president of Howard Plaza Hotels, we have continuously strived to maintain good customer service with a strong budget management system.
We have now grown to operating properties across Taiwan, in Taipei, Yilan, Changhua and Chiayi. In 2015, our annual total revenue surpassed US$15 million. We have an excellent market mix of 30% domestic and 70% international guests.
In 2014, we won a short-list mention in the Asian Hospitality Design Awards 2014 for our Orange Hotel Ximen, Taipei. Sustainable Travel International (STI) awarded our Orange Hotel Ximen a Bronze level certificate for our eco-conscious efforts. We continue to work with Sustainable Tourism Taiwan and our Yilan property is also promoting local farms and producers.
Our current chairman, Benjamin Liao, envisions our company to be smarter, healthier and more creative. Our goals continue our founder’s value base as we become better connected with the latest regional tourism trends. Forte strives to improve and evolve our service standards as well as focus on human resource development and local community involvement. Benjamin is deeply committed to Taiwan tourism and PATA: he is consultant to Taiwan Visitor's Association and current vice-chair in PATA.
We are now busy planning and preparing for our next hotel openings in Taipei (2024) and Tainan (2025).
