Forever Group Co. Ltd is one of Myanmar's Leading Media & Broadcaster which was founded in 1995 to introduce the first computer graphics technology to Myanmar. The first ever Computer Graphics Training Center was established in the year 1996, where many of Myanmar’ talented graphic designers and broadcasting professionals were produced.
In 2003, the first Myanmar e-Book business was started and www.foreverspace.com.mm website was successfully launched.
Forever Group’s first free to air channel “MRTV-4” was launched in 2004 and it has become Myanmar's first free-to-air channel to broadcast 24 hours daily, reaching an estimated viewership of over 60 percent of Myanmar population. MRTV-4 is now available in High Definition Quality which can be tuned in using DVB-T2 and DTH systems nationwide.
Mandalay FM Radio station was launched in 2008 and Pyinsawadi FM was launched in 2009. Pyinsawadi FM was re-branded as Teen Radio in 2016.
In 2009, jointly organized with AIBD (Asia-Pacific Institute of Broadcast Development), the Myanmar Media Development Center (MMDC) was founded.
In 2012, Forever Group launched the second free-to-air channel named Channel 7, targeting to the younger audience of Myanmar. Channel 7 is now available in High Definition Quality which can be tuned in using DVB-T2 and DTH System nationwide.
Forever Group launched a new digital free-to-air channel called "Maharbawdi" in 2013 airing programs that enrich and deepen the viewers’ devotion to Buddha.
In 2005, the very first local Pay TV service in Myanmar was launched by Forever Group. In 2018, Forever Group and its joint venture company CANAL+ (France) collaborated together and re-branded the pay tv as “CANAL+ Myanmar FG” and delivers the new Pay TV entertainment to the Myanmar audiences nationwide.
Pyone Play Application and website was ( www.pyoneplay.com ) launched in 2016 to provide free On-Demand and live streaming of the best contents of MRTV 4, Channel 7 and other exclusive programs.
