Angela Flowers established her first gallery in 1970 in London's West End. In the 1980s she became one of the first dealers to open a space in East London. Angela’s son, Matthew Flowers, is now Managing Director of two galleries in the city, a 12,000 sq foot industrial space in Shoreditch and a Mayfair premises on Cork Street. Flowers New York is located on West 20th street, Chelsea. Flowers participates regularly in international art fairs and the programme comprises all media by established and emerging artists. The gallery is an active publisher of prints and multiples with a growing department in contemporary international photography.
