I’m Edward Phelps and I am the founder of Flawless Websites. Back in early 2000, I knew nothing about the Internet or websites. I was an award winning graphic designer running a successful graphic design firm. And, I was not at all “technical.” My design business was at risk of failure if I could not figure out how to build websites - which were the new “Hot Item.” One night at a party, I told the Executive Director of a regional arts funding organization about an idea I had to develop a website platform for arts organizations. I promised the platform would be so easy-to-use that each organization could maintain their website with current staff. My love for problem solving and my elite design training helped me design and develop one of the first website Content Management Systems (CMS). Before there was WordPress, I designed & developed our own proprietary CMS, and launched the first websites for 12 area Arts Organizations.
