Finding A Voice is a four-day festival that celebrates and showcases music by women composers through the ages. It takes place annually in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary around the weekend of International Women’s Day - 8th March.
Founded in 2017 by sisters Roisin Maher (Artistic Director - Lecturer at MTU Cork School of Music) and Cliona Maher (Treasurer - Artistic Director of Clonmel Junction Arts Festival), over the past five years the concert series has featured music by hundreds of women creators, from twelfth-century nun Hildegard of Bingen to newly commissioned works by Irish composers, all performed by leading Irish and international musicians.
The seventh edition of Finding a Voice will take place from 7th to 10th March 2024 in Cork and Clonmel.
