Filmmakers Of Laurier

Filmmakers of Laurier aims to provide students with a structured environment in which they can collaborate with other forward-thinking artists to explore their talents and expand their skill set. Together, we will learn about the filmmaking process through production and distribution of short films (writing, editing, acting, screening, etc.) At Filmmakers of Laurier, we believe in giving students opportunities to explore different aspects of the filmmaking process. We will focus on providing people with a safe and exciting outlet for their creativity through the ever-changing medium of filmmaking. We aim to provide students, who may have little to no professional experience, with a diverse portfolio to aid them with future career opportunities. Finally, FoL sets out to familiarize students with industry standards, etiquette on set and to help them make professional connections.
