All areas of our lives from our clothing to communication satellites are based on materials. The higher the volume in these markets, the higher the price pressure. As a result, the best technical solutions cannot be used in mass markets. FibreCoat is changing that. By producing composite fibres at high speeds, we achieve exceptional properties at low cost. Aluminium-coated basalt or glass filaments already available on the market achieve the properties of full metal fibres at one-tenth of the price. This cost advantage makes highly technical applications inexpensive and entirely new products feasible for the first time. These aluminium coated fibres are also an affordable solution for shielding against EM-radiation (5G, Wifi,...).
