FERGUSON AUSTRALIA started in 1969 when Robert Ferguson commenced fishing for Southern Rock Lobster in the South East of South Australia. Today, Ferguson Australia is a third generation seafood company, with the family’s fishing history in the Southern Rock Lobster industry helping the business to become recognised as an industry leader in the Australian commercial fishing and seafood industry due to the family’s commitment to marine research and innovative sustainable fishing and seafood processing practices. The family business has also gained international recognition as an award winning and innovative seafood processor and exporter. The Ferguson Australia Group was established in 2015 after the merger of three companies; Ferguson Australia, Mori Seafood and Five Star Seafoods. Under the three brands the Ferguson Australia Group processes and supplies a wide range of premium seafood products within Australia and globally. The group manages many facets across the business, including a large fishing fleet, international offices, export and retail / wholesale trade.
