Ferencvárosi Torna Club is the most successful and popular multi-sports club in Hungary with over one million supporters within the borders of the country. The club is also known as FTC and Fradi.
Ferencváros has several divisions (currently 16) from athletics, through football, to curling. The football division has won 32 Hungarian Championship and 23 Hungarian Cup titles. Ferencváros is best known for winning the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup 1964-65, today known as Europa League, by beating Juventus F.C. in the final.
The women's handball side is also one of the most successful teams in the country, owning 13 Hungarian Championship and 13 Hungarian Cup titles. The team also enjoys a good international reputation for winning the EHF Cup Winner's Cup three times (1978, 2011, 2012) and the EHF Cup in 2006.
The club colours are green and white and the club mascot is a green eagle, thus another nick for the club is 'The Green Eagles'.
