تشكيل المجلس:
يتشكل المجلس الوطني الاتحادي من أربعين عضواً ، يتوزعون على الإمارات بحسب الدستور كما يلي:
- (8) مقاعد لإمارة أبوظبي.
- (8) مقاعد لإمارة دبي.
- (6) مقاعد لإمارة الشارقة.
- (6) مقاعد لإمارة رأس الخيمة.
- (4) مقاعد لإمارة عجمان.
- (4) مقاعد لإمارة والفجيرة.
- (4) مقاعد لإمارة أم القيوين.
