FødevareBanken (The Danish Food Bank) is the first non-profit organization in Denmark with the mission to minimize food waste and to further the access to better food and meals for socially vulnerable people.
Our organisation is member of the European Federation of Food Banks and we operate by the same practices as in U.S.A, England, Canada, Germany and many other countries around the world.
The primary goal of The Danish Food Bank is to collect surplus food from all corners of the food industry and deliver it to local relief organizations and projects who work for and with socially vulnerable people.
The Danish Food Bank relies on the support of individuals, companies, trusts & foundations. By supporting our work we are able to provide food and better meals for thousands of people in need in Denmark.
