The Family Resource Center of Northeast Georgia is our community’s go-to place for parent education and support to help strengthen families in their ability to raise healthy children. We are a family’s partner as they make their way along the challenging journey of parenthood. Both locations are conveniently located in downtown Clarkesville; our Annex provides a classroom to learn nurturing parenting principles and proven discipline strategies or life skills. This location also provides therapeutic counseling and support groups for adults and children that have experienced adverse childhood experiences. We are the only site in Northeast Georgia that provide supervised family visitation in a neutral and secure family environment. Our services include adult and child educational programs, adult mentoring, support groups, supervised visitation, therapeutic counseling, and links to community resources as families strive to be more competent and self-sufficient.
