The University of Toronto’s Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work is a leader in social work education, research and evidence-based practice that meets the changing needs of individuals and communities. FIFSW has earned a top international ranking based on research that informs innovations in practice and policy, exceptional learning experiences, and important service to the profession, our communities, and the world. FIFSW offers a full time Two-Year MSW program (for those entering without a BSW degree), an Advanced Standing MSW program (for those entering with a BSW degree), and a Doctor of Philosophy program. The Faculty's unique Indigenous Trauma and Resiliency (ITR) field of study prepares advanced social work professionals to work with individuals, families and communities who have been affected by historical and generational trauma.
