FC Halifax Town is a professional English football club, currently competing in the Vanarama National League. Founded in 2008, FC Halifax Town is the continuation of the now-dissolved Halifax Town AFC.
On the pitch, the Shaymen have seen the likes of Jamie Vardy, Lee Gregory and Geoff Horsfield grace the turf of the Shay Stadium. As well as well-decorated players, the club has seen well-decorated trophies within the cabinets.
In recent times, FC Halifax Town was National League North play-off winners on two occasions. In addition to an FA Trophy win in 2016 at Wembley Stadium. Alongside clinching the West Riding County Cup in 2013.
The Shaymen have been champions in both levels of the Northern Premier League – Premier Division and Division One North. These achievements were proudly in back-to-back seasons.
