FACAMP, Faculdades de Campinas, is a privately owned college, founded in the year 2000. In less than a decade, its innovative educational project has gained the respect of the Brazilian academic community, as well as the recognition of our dynamic labour market, which has created more than 16.7 million jobs nationwide since 2000.
Located in Campinas, a city with a population of 1.1 million and a GDP per capita of U$21,000 (almost 2 times the Brazilian average). Campinas is a one-hour (90km) ride from São Paulo, Brazil’s major city and its economic centre. Viracopos Campinas Airport is a busy hub and has around 200 daily take-offs to major cities and regions in Brazil. There are also daily flights to the US and Europe.
The city of Campinas is known for its vocation for technological innovation and is surrounded by many renowned universities, technology research centres, and highly valued global enterprises, such as 3M, Bosch, Honda, Motorola, Pirelli, Samsung, among others. Over the years, FACAMP has established strong links with the manufacturing and financial sectors providing a privileged locus for common learning and research.
FACAMP is set in a 100.000 m2 campus of sustainable landscape, with more than a thousand native trees and 22 thousand orchid plants.
