Exxaro Coal Central Ex Total Coal South Africa

Total Coal South Africa (TCSA) was acquired by Exxaro in August 2015. TCSA has been renamed as Exxaro Coal Central (ECC). ECC has been operating for more than 25 years and has concentrated on export quality coal via its shareholding in the Richards Bay coal terminal. ECC produces coal from the following underground operations, Dorstfontein Coal Mine, Forzando North and South coal mines and Tumelo Coal Mine. ECC supplies more than 4 MT per annum of export quality coal, and can supply up to 1 MT per annum of metallurgical quality coal for the inland market, and has sufficient reserves for more than 20 years.
