Evolution at Work offers two unique concepts: The Symbiotic Enterprise, which enables people and organizations to move into self-organization in a way that creates symbiosis. This means that the transformation is to the advantage of both. The Language of Spaces framework develops human capacities required to thrive within the increasing complexity of self-organization and this completely new way of doing our work in the world.
When organizations move from traditional ways of organizing work to self-organization, individuals inevitably experience new tensions that didn’t previously exist. Self-organization is liberating for the organization and for people, but while there are very helpful answers for organizations that are on this journey, the individuals that make up the organization are often left without the internal tools to navigate the new tensions with clarity and compassion. The Symbiotic Enterprise defines the contexts and structures, where this parallel evolution of people and organization can take place. Language of Spaces has the particular focus on assisting the people on the journey of self-organizing. Together they create symbiosis, meaning that people and organization can now thrive in self-organization in symbiosis - balanced and to the advantage of both.
