Everett Ridge, Healdsburg.
Owned and operated by the Sterling family, Everett Ridge has vineyards in sought-after appellations such as the Dry Creek Valley, Russian River, Alexander Valleys of Sonoma County,
Everett Wise built the winery in 1887, with a barn of hand-hewn redwood beams (a replica of it stands today after renovation in the 1990s). In 2006, Murio and Doris Sterling purchased the property and updated its facilities. The Sterlings, originally cattle ranchers and grape growers during the 1960s in the Central Valley, now own Esterlina Vineyards & Winery in Anderson Valley and the Cole Ranch appellation in Ukiah. The winemaker is their son Dr. Eric Sterling, a Renaissance man who practices emergency medicine at a Santa Rosa hospital. Other Sterling sons include Chris (vineyard management), Stephen (marketing) and Craig (operations).
