As seen on Sky One on The Force, we operate across an area of 1,405 square miles which borders four counties and four London boroughs, policing an estimated population of 1.72million, making it the fifth most populous county in England. Essex Police have specialist teams and departments which offer a varied career; the Dog Section, Child Abuse Investigation Team, Local Policing Teams, Community Policing Teams, Crime Scene Investigation Department, CID; to name just a few.
