Escavel is a product-based services company. Our educational product, branded as “scholAR” is designed to significantly aid the learning process for the High schoolers. At Escavel, we are attempting to engender a digital transformation in education, one institute at a time. We are developing immersive, interactive content using 3D and mixed reality technologies. Our products are designed to significantly improve visualization of complex concepts, thus enabling easier understanding and intensifying the overall learning process. The target audience is the high school community which includes teachers and students. Our aim is to bring the laboratory and outside world into the classroom with our highly interactive platform which would explain complex concepts in science using examples from common daily occurrences. We strongly believe that “Experiment based learning” will engage students’ minds and thus enable teachers to impart real education quickly and effectively. Edgar Dale, the famous American educator postulated in his “Cone of Experience” that while we retain only around 10% of what we read, we tend to retain 90% of what we experience ourselves. While teachers consider such an approach to be very effective, they find it very challenging to bring such activities to students easily and conveniently in the comfort of a classroom or living room. This is a challenge we hope to conquer for the teachers of the world. We believe AR and VR based education will provide a platform for the highest levels of knowledge retention. Our flagship product “scholAR” is designed using 3D and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies, and will be available on popular mobile operating systems as well as desktop browsers. We aspire to provide a rich set of experiments to explain the most complex concepts in science for middle and high school (6th to 12th grade).
