Entraide is a non profit organization existing in the Congo and in the US. The mission of Entraide (Which means mutual help) is to empower Africans. As its first mission, we empower the entrepreneurial potential of Africans for personnal development and a durable financial autonomi.
MR. VULCAIN MINERVE YENGO, a native Congolese and student at Brigham Young univers, was completing his educational degree at the time of the development of ENTRAIDE. Mr. Yengo has lived the majority of his life in the African Congo and has encountered many setbacks as he tried hardly to start small businesses in his home country to help himself and the people around him. During that time he learned the importance of individual efforts by each person in working together to make life better for all the people, not just a few. This started his conceptual thinking about the ENTRAIDE.
When he finally traveled to study at Brigham Young university Hawaii, he spent the next 2 years preparing for his future with a goal in mind to help bring better health, better economic opportunities and therefore a better life to the People of Congo.
