Engineers without Borders (EWB) Technion was established in 2008 by Prof. Mark Talesnick, as part of the global movement. Since then, we provide different interdisciplinary and hands-on learning experiences enabling students to apply fundamental and theoretical knowledge to real-world situations.

A vision built on the belief that the engineering profession can and should work towards changes that allow the planet, including all people and living things, to thrive. . Where people are involved, leading, and taking responsibility for the local and global community they live in. and where community members and experts could build and develop the structure and content of their lives.

While supporting local community-driven development worldwide, through long-term partnerships that design, and implement sustainable engineering projects and challenge students and all involved, to approach problems with innovative and critical thinking.
