Encore! Educational Theatre

Encore! Educational Theatre Company is Israel's best known English musical theatre company. Since 2006 Encore! has been bringing the classics of the musical stage to Jerusalem - from Gilbert & Sullivan to Fiddler on the Roof to My Fair Lady. Show by show it has earned its place as one of Jerusalem's most loved cultural gems. It is a hub of creativity which attracts all ages - from 8 to 80. Seasoned performers, students, parents, old timers and first-timer kids, are all part of the Encore! family. The ethos is simple; to create great nights out inspired by shows on Broadway and The West End through excellence in design, direction, performance and stagecraft. Robert Binder, a musical theater aficionado, is Artistic Director and the powerhouse behind it all while Paul Salter is Musical Director with the high standards of a Maestro. A generation of youngsters have grown up in the company. Here they have sung, danced and acted in what has become not only a drama school but a school for life.
