Elenger is a one of the largest and most experienced private energy groups in the Baltic region, with roots in 1865 and operations today in Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
Elenger’s core product and competence is natural gas delivered to customers as pipeline gas, compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG). Elenger is the region’s leading LNG marine expert and the biggest truck-to-ship LNG bunkering provider in Northern Europe.
Besides natural gas, Elenger sells electricity, is engaged in solar power production, builds and maintains gas and district heating networks, develops various energy solutions for its customers.
In homeland Estonia Elenger is known as Eesti Gaas and runs the country’s biggest gas distribution network, as well as the biggest CNG station network which sell both, natural gas and locally produced biomethane. The company has 50,000 clients and employs 240 people.
Elenger is part of a larger corporate group Infortar that includes Tallink, the leading ferry company in the Northern Baltic Sea region.
