An acclaimed and growing multidisciplinary practice founded in 1996 and devoted to the pursuit of design excellence, El Dorado has been hailed for our “continued commitment to the integration of art, architecture, and fabrication that has made it endlessly interesting to follow.” Our pledge is to chase big ideas in the middle of everywhere, leading to our growth with a new Portland, Oregon office and new commissions around the United States where design innovation is a key goal. Merging architecture, urban design, curatorial, education and fabrication capabilities, we’ve brought our success stories from Kansas City and the Midwest to cities and communities around the world. Today, we work purposefully across scales, locations, and contexts, from city blocks to exhibitions, between critical ideas and our intangible, spiritual attachment to place.
