Luis Buñuel had a surrealistic dream: a bar in New York with the most refined and exclusive cocktails. The price of the drinks would be so extravagantly expensive that when a client's bill reached a thousand dollars a waiter would blow a cannon shot (a "cañonazo") over Manhattan's skies, so no matter what time it was, everyone would know that someone has just spent that crazy amount on cocktails. The bar was to be called El Cañonazo. It never opened. Founded in 2010, El Cañonazo Transmedia, is an award-winning and independent company based in Madrid and specialised on three business areas: transmedia formats development, branded content strategy, and multi-platform content production. El Cañonazo Strategy: We develop transmedia content strategies for brands and digital media, accompanying our clients through all the creative, production and distribution stages, as well as setting up in-house content production teams. El Cañonazo Entertainment: On-going creative solutions and transmedia format proposals for digital channels and brands. El Cañonazo Productions: on demand digital content production service WE ARE CREATIVE We are narrative storytellers, not advertising copywriters. Our ideas become scripts, stories, documentaries, etc. They are designed to attract and engage audiences instead of interrupting the content they are watching. We aim to entertain. WE ARE AUDIOVISUAL We produce on-demand content. We know that close and direct content is vital on these channels, and that is what we strive for. We have been creating content for these platforms for years and our know-how allows us to adapt to our client's needs. WE ARE DIGITAL El Cañonazo was born digital. We have distributed online video since before YouTube ever existed and we are constantly on the look-out for new platforms and connected screens so that we can innovate on our proposals and also adapt to them.
