Eileen Murray is a painter, printmaker and encaustic artist who works on canvas, paper and wood. Her work has been exhibited at several solo exhibits, including the Lawrence Pavilion Gallery at Summit Medical Group, NJ in 2007. She has also exhibited in numerous juried and group shows, such as the Smithtown Arts Council juried exhibit, Works on Paper 2006, the national juried exhibition at the Gallery at R&F in Kingston NY, and the NJ juried exhibition in the Park Avenue Club in Madison, 2006-2007.
Since 2001, Eileen has been the Assistant Director of the Arts Access Program at Matheny Medical and Educational Center, an alternative fine arts program for people with disabilities.
Eileen received her Bachelor of Arts from the College of New Jersey, and continued her professional growth with coursework at St. John’s University in Queens, NY. Additionally, she has studied jewelry design, photography and encaustic painting at professional workshops throughout the Northeast. Eileen has 20+ years of experience as a professional graphic designer and past clients include Hershey’s, Hunter Douglas, and Lucent Technologies.
