In 1998, Edu-Futuro was founded by immigrant parent leaders in partnership with Arlington Public Schools in response to the need for academic enrichment and leadership development services for low-income immigrant youth and families. In the past two decades, Edu-Futuro has grown to become a multicultural community organization providing educational services to a diverse group of more than one thousand children, youth, and families annually in Northern Virginia. To help address the disparities facing immigrant youth and families across our region, Edu-Futuro offers life-changing programs that empower under-resourced youth and families through our education, leadership development, and after-school enrichment initiatives.
Edu-Futuro’s core programs focus on education as the most important tool for advancing socioeconomic mobility among immigrant families.
Our mission: Empowering under-resourced immigrant youth through education, leadership development, and family engagement, to become the next generation of professionals who transform their communities.
