Edipower is among the largest energy producers in Italy.
With its seven power plants, Edipower’s installed power consists of over 5.490 MW, of which 702 MW are from renewable sources, with a production of 5,4 billion kWh in 2014 (53,8% from renewable sources) representing 1,8% of Italy’s demand.
Edipower has five thermoelectric power plants and two hydroelectric power bundles. From 2007 to 2010 four photovoltaic plants for a total of 3 MW, of which 2,5 MW obtained with the state-of-the-art CIS technology and the remaining 0,5 MW with traditional monocrystalline silicon wafers, were installed in some Edipower’s power plant.
