At Eczellon, we continuously seek to connect leaders – of corporations, governments and enterprises – primed for the next big thing, with ideas and the right capital, towards the creation and advancement of an economically vibrant and progressive African Story.
We see that, in Africa, we must work towards a setting where governments and institutions are enabled to create, build and sustain businesses that produce, as goods and services, solutions to issues faced by Africa and her people. Those businesses can be aided to be sustainable and lasting enterprises that create jobs, eradicate poverty and foster economic development.
At Eczellon, we believe the above mission is the essence of investment banking services.
Since our founding in 2011, Eczellon Capital has operated the business of investment banking, focusing on Corporate Finance and Advisory Services across select markets of Sub-Saharan Africa. We are licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in Nigeria to operate as an Issuing House.
We continuously work with our clients to provide financing solutions which aid their objectives in meeting the strategic goals of their respective stakeholders. These include governments for which we have raised capital, through municipal debt issues, to fund various developmental initiatives. Between 2015 and date, Eczellon has been involved in over $300million debt capital market issues, in lead/active roles. We have also assisted on public-private-partnership (PPP) initiatives and other special project development and implementation. In 2017, we closed the first Green Bond issue of circa $90million to fund a PPP initiative for Environment Solutions in one of the States of Nigeria, a transaction which received the Most Innovative Deal of the Year award from the FMDQ OTC Exchange.
