Economic Development Agency Of Leningrad Region

Economic Development Agency of Leningrad Region is a state institution subordinate to the Committee for Economic Development and Investment Activity of Leningrad Region. In 2013 a front office of the Administration of Leningrad region for investor relations was established on the basis of the Agency. The front office provides investment projects support under ‘one stop shop’ principle which allows simplifying the work on implementation of investment projects, reducing administrative barriers under registration of documents, accelerating the process of obtaining information. The aim of the Agency is to provide comfortable interaction between investors and authorities. The main functions: - to provide information about possibilities of placing potential investment projects in the region:about available land plots; engineering infrastructure;socioeconomic development of the region and its municipal districts;labour force and educational institutions, etc.; - to organize interaction with regional and municipal executive authorities required for implementation of projects; - to provide information about measures of state support for implementation of investment projects; - to provide information about procedures of implementation of investment projects,required documents. The investment portal of Leningrad region provides information about measures of state support, clusters and opportunities for business development in the region. The portal has an integrated regional information system “Investment Development of Leningrad Region” – an interactive map demonstrating investment advantages and opportunities of the region. Using this system investors can select investment sites in accordance with requirements of their projects.
