Ecomerit

EcoMerit is a sustainable energy community of enterprises, large and small, across Ireland, private, public and voluntary. Our mission is to support enterprises in the optimal use of their resources, notably energy, carbon, waste and water, by providing technical support, certification and access to finance. EcoMerit has been successfully helping Irish enterprises improve their environmental performance for over 10 years, through a continuous improvement model of certification and support, focussing on waste, water and energy consumption. This has delivered reductions in GHG emissions averaging over 60% across a 10 year period. EcoMerit’s Oversight Board provides assurance that the environmental certification in line with best practice, providing members with a valuable environmental certification and external verification of their performance.
