Eco Markets Australia

Eco-Markets Australia is the country’s first independent environmental markets administrator. We are a not-for-profit organisation that operates voluntary environmental markets across Australia. We create opportunities for farmers, graziers and land managers to be paid for the work they do in improving our environment. We do this by administering crediting schemes that explicitly measure, value and pay for the work of farmers in contributing to environmental outcomes. Eco-Markets Australia was established during the creation of the Reef Credit Scheme, a world-first environmental market scheme designed to improve the quality of water flowing to the Great Barrier Reef.
