The Eastern Partnership Civil Society Facility is the EU-funded Project working with the six EaP countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) to strengthen the role and increase the capacity of civil society organisations and activists from all six countries. The Project is funded by the European Union and implemented by a consortium led by GDSI Limited (Ireland). The Project will run from July 2021 until December 2024.
In a nutshell, this is what our project offers to civil society organisations and activists from the region:
• Learning opportunities for civil society.
• Annual Civil Society Hackathons to develop new ideas and tools for transparency, accountability and participation.
• Civil Society Fellowships to support 120 civil society activists from the region.
• Regional networking and the participation of civil society representatives in relevant regional and international events.
• Ad-hoc support to a number of civil society representatives on their different initiatives.
• Communication activities to increase the public awareness of CSOs, improve their public image and promote EU support to civil society.
• Mappings and studies on civil society at the request of the EU.
