EastHUB is a Bellevue-based nonprofit that unites public and private partners in a unique model to transform the Eastside into a vibrant cultural ecosystem.
To build an arts and cultural network that truly reflects our brilliant diversity, EastHUB will engage hundreds of people from different racial, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds to determine the types of cultural spaces and resources that will best serve our community.
We are guided by these principles:
Building EastHUB’s arts and cultural spaces will be an act of love for communities that have been marginalized.
The traditional nonprofit arts model will be reexamined with an antiracist and inclusive lens.
Our leadership (board and staff) will center antiracism, inclusivity, and multiculturalism.
Every operational policy, procedure, and practice will be reexamined from an antiracist and anti-oppression lens before we adopt it.
