East African Foundry Works (K)

East African Foundry Works (K) Ltd (EAFW) commenced operation almost 40 years ago with the sole interest of providing a “Complete Engineering Solution.” Starting out as a small engineering workshop, the company provided an engineering service to various industries within the economy. To date, it has expanded its facilities to include an Iron Foundry, diverse machine shop and a fabrication department. In addition, under the same banner, the company has also constructed a various number of industrial sheds, office blocks and storm water and sewerage systems. The directors of the company have over thirty five years of experience behind them in Resource, Human, Financial and Capital management. In 1989 EAFW put up a sister company, Alloy Steel Castings Limited, which has a Steel Foundry. This combined with the facilities available to EAFW, can cater for any mechanical, civil and/or structural requirements. Both companies are ISO 9001:2008 certified and have the highest regard to ensuring a quality and timely service. With this certification of quality, the companies have participated in international trade fares such as the Hanover Messe in Germany.
