East Africa Reinsurance Company Limited (EARe) is a leading regional reinsurer headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. We offer both short-term and long-term reinsurance solutions to over 200 cedants, mainly in Sub-Saharan Africa. The Company was incorporated in 1993 through a joint initiative of the insurance industry in Kenya and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group.
