Feature 1: Commercialization of Slide Bearings Half a century has passed since we began work on commercializing slide bearings together with Hiroshi Teramachi, the founder of THK who was the first person to introduce linear bearings to the world. This stretches back to the development of standards for the metal slide-bearings of that period. It can therefore be said that the history of Ease Seiko lies within the history of linear bearings. Feature 2: High-Precision Linear Ball Bearings Made Possible with Our Unique Technology Ease Seiko's linear ball bearings have a distinctive outer appearances and maintain an orbit that is formed through cold-plastic processing. They have a compact design and are made lightweight through the cold-plastic process, which enables compact and lightweight machinery to be manufactured. This processing method is effective for suppressing early malfunctions caused by momentary loads and excessive pre-loads. Also, the balls are structured with endless circulation, which eradicates limitations on stroke and minimizes frictional resistance, so they not only have reduced wearing for long life expectancy, they are also advantageous for heavy loads owing to the fact that there is hardly any malformation from frictional resistance, even when heavy loads are applied. Heat treatment that is suitable for outer rims is applied, which makes the metal-type linear ball bearings especially resistant to high temperatures so that they can be used in conditions up to 150 degrees Celsius. They operate on simple lubrication and are maintenance-free. They are also extremely convenient in that they can be used without any lubrication if necessary.
