The Environmental Services Company Ltd. (ESC) is a government company that was established in 1990, to deal with all of the hazardous waste produced in Israel, while carefully protecting the environment. The company provides a wide range of environmental protection solutions and services to industries, research institutes, laboratories and businesses. The company owns and operates a plant, situated in the Naot Hovav Industrial Area. Using some of the most advanced modern methods in the world, the plant a wide range of hazardous waste types including– organic, inorganic, liquid and solid. In 2016, the Israeli Government ruled that ESC would act as the executive body for the Israel Soil Remediation project
