Erci̇yes Otonom

Erciyes Otonom is the Teknofest Robotaxi Passenger Autonomous Vehicle Competition team with a 5-year experience, formed by the Erciyes University Social Technology Club, which has been operating since 2011. Our team is preparing for the Teknofest 2021 competition this year under the consultancy of Fehim Köylü, a Doctor Lecturer, as in previous years. WHAT IS ELECTRIC AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE? Electric vehicles and autonomous systems that we have heard frequently in recent years are an innovation that takes a lot of investment and we see slowly on the roads. Electric vehicles gasoline, diesel etc. The fact that it uses electricity instead of fuels such as fuels significantly reduces global carbon emissions. With the development of technology, the vehicles are able to change lanes, drive control, brake etc. The fact that it can implement actions such as decision-making without the need for people has made vehicles autonomous. OUR VISION • To lead R&D in the field of autonomous vehicle systems in our university and to represent our university in national and international platforms. • Contributing to the transfer of the technical knowledge we have gained during our work to our university and our city. • To ensure that our team members are trained as good engineers with the experience they have gained and contribute to the development of our country. • To complement the science and technology race in different tracks • To contribute to domestic automobile production with scientific gains on autonomous systems. OUR MISSION • To follow new technologies in the scientific field in the automobile industry and to transfer them to our university. • To contribute to domestic automobile and autonomous technologies in line with 2023 targets. • To bring patents, designs and useful models to our country with R & D studies. • To do our part for the development of our country. • Contributing to the public awareness of technology and scientific studies.
