Established in 1984, ENSI (National School for Computer Science) was the first Tunisian college specialised in IT.
ENSI is a regional-class engineering college where teaching and research — with relevance to the practical world as a guiding principle — continue to be its primary purpose.
The mission of ENSI is to advance knowledge and to educate students in science, technology, and other areas of scholarship that will best serve Tunisia in the 21st century.
Degrees earned at ENSI include Master of Engineering, Master of Science, Master of Research and Doctorates.
By the end of 2016, academic year, there were over 4300 alumni, 1000 undergraduate students and 200 graduate students.
Important milestones:
- 1984: the first generation of IT engineers nation-wide
- 1994: first doctoral school nation-wide
- 1999: first IT labs nation-wide: RIADI lab & CRISTAL lab
- 2014: HANA lab
- 2016: COSMOS lab
- 2017: first LinkedIn university page in Tunisia
